Another unexpected turn of events...
All Comments/ReplyVery thought provoking 5⛤
All Comments/ReplyThis was the perfect moment to introduce Adrastas and Obran--especially after all the killing at Deadman's Bog; you timed the remark "...Harke's saddle was smarter than he was" perfectly for comic relief--and of course the encouraging news of much of the opposing forces being pulled...
All Comments/ReplyI DIDN'T LIKE THE ENDING, SINCE I HATE "RAACS",,,BUT I STILL MARKED IT FIVE STORES.
All Comments/ReplyEvane reminds me TONS of Meeli Deadeyes.

I will mention something about the work "f**k," which is that its first recorded use occurred in 1535 in its current spelling. Since we're talking about 937 here... Hardly worth dinging the story for, but others can find the same in the...
All Comments/ReplyCINCO!
All Comments/ReplyCINCO ESTRELLAS!
All Comments/ReplyWe already see some of Motekin's less-than-flattering remarks recorded about Kolasovets. That will enrage once discovered.
All Comments/ReplyCINCO ESTRELLAS!
All Comments/ReplyNah. I came here for sci-fi spy shenanigans, not a historical Italian epic. I'm out, this isn't my thing.
All Comments/Reply@ Anonymous - I am already pretty close to having Chapter 13 put together, so hopefully you will have another new drop quickly. I'm glad you're enjoying it and thank you for being a reader. :)
@nthusiastic - I am SO happy to hear that Mittens has actual kitty fans and I know she'll...
All Comments/ReplyWell, I'm kinda hoping that Adm. Colenso sees our boy as unused asset.
Since he's being wasted on the Pope.
5 stars, easily. :)
All Comments/ReplySO FAR SO GOOD......CINCO ESTRELLAS!
All Comments/ReplyMan. There are too many monarchs named Charles (I'm looking at you, Charles III... really? Didn't you read up on your namesake predecessors? You might think Charles II was okay, if you set aside him being essentially an agent of France, but the people literally beheaded the first...
All Comments/ReplyAh the plot thickens, Mort was definitely a red flag waiting to be thrown and Amber's knowledge of Steve's 'shady past' is also a tidbit to be savored. Another well thought out and written chapter. I look forward to reading the next. I appreciate your and your Muse's imagination and...
All Comments/ReplyBill is still a jackass, and Toni has betrayed Robert… again. Toni has to go. It sounded like Bill really thought he’d pimp out Toni. Robert needs to positively destroy him and Debra, and Toni needs to know but not be able to prove it.
All Comments/ReplyYou promised Book 2 and gave a provisional date January 2023. Where is it, you swine?
All Comments/ReplyHmmnn I'm guessing that, well, I don't fucking know... I can't figure out the little bastards motive...
Revenge for his men and women. Trying to keep him from reporting back once the Sim is done, but that seems like a moot point. He's fully on team Admiral...
Thanks for confusing...
All Comments/ReplyGreat start
Then she says use me and he takes her ass dry without lube, let alone talking about it or prepping. He "loves" her and he is trying to rip her open and then tells her to figure it out when she is of two minds about being ass fked, oh, and he does not do anything for...
All Comments/ReplyGreatly enjoyed this and the series a whole
All Comments/ReplyFact check: identical twins are always, of necessity the same sex, unless the putative female has a serious genetic defect.
This is extremely rare.
“She” is essentially a male with a missing Y chromosome
All Comments/ReplyWell if he hadn't made a name for him self before, I sure he has now.
All Comments/ReplyLots of twists but that last one was a doozy!
All Comments/ReplyA good long slow story. Lots of subtle hints and red herring keeping the reader guessing what the ending would be.
To all of those who blindly say "He should have kicked her out", while those words do indeed roll easily off the tongue, they are actually a lot harder to do to someone...
All Comments/ReplyThank you for the feedback! Fair criticism as I had to make the decision between focusing on chapter style scenarios versus more of a 2-3 part novella set. The draft I wrote for the sequel pivots immensely but it flowed so I felt I had to reveal the illusion to lessen the abrupt shift....
All Comments/Replylove the story .. the seeing colors i groke
All Comments/ReplyNeed a part 2 asap!
All Comments/ReplyI woke at 5am to read this story, finish’s by 7. It didn’t disappoint
All Comments/ReplySo turns out Kanni appears as Kolasovet's grandmother? Nice cameo.
Historical parallel is that by the 3rd generation, those living then have forgotten the lessons the first generation learned at great personal cost--and they get too complacent--hence the invasion. The only thing...
All Comments/ReplyWell, that was nuts.

The only definite here to me is neither Gina nor Elena is Nika, so I assume she's just "out" of the sim (Nika would have reacted violently to him having another woman). I don't know Adm Colenso enough to say why (if he's playing the French Charles) he wants...
All Comments/ReplyBig lesson here: people truly desiring redemption can have it IF they stay patient and dedicate themselves to a cause--and fixing their foibles.

Thing is I can't remember a single thing about Notomol containing anything about Guenna, Branimir, nor Giedra unless maybe some footnotes...
All Comments/ReplySulcen expressed it succinctly: spitting onto the ground to demonstrate her utter disgust. HOWEVER, NO ONE could match Yevna's ferocity nor dedication to defend what's right--and lose no sleep over it, either!

Biggest lesson is that those who feel "entitled" will NEVER show...
All Comments/ReplyThat was HILARIOUS for Veran to tell a very young Tanguiste that if her ears grew too big, he would trim them with his long knife...and she ran off covering her ears and screaming! Typical dad!! Way to humanize it even more.
All Comments/ReplyI read replies first. Don't want to waist my on unfinished stories.
All Comments/ReplyPowerful lesson in this story: people will soldier on IF there are enough people there to encourage them. ;)
