I think you have a good idea there, Dark. You could write in parallel to Laresa without interfering with what's happening in the chain but allow us (the readers) a deeper glimpse into Laresa's actions within the chain.

You've painted these characters with a depth that makes it a really enjoyable read. The pace of the story is well set also, you take enough time with the details and keep things moving along. Nice finish. I haven't read the other installments but this stands alone quite well. Bravo! I'll try and not be such a stranger to your work.
