Dawn awakes with diamonds
Clothing the morning surf
Glistening in the summer sun
As seashell lions sillouette
The breaking waves
Echoing their mighty roar
Salty air pricks the senses
As a chilly breeze
Numbs the flesh

Magnificent. Captures the mystery of the ocean.

You have beautifully captured the feeling of standing on the beach in the early morning, hopefully with a lover. The images stirred my memories of my own experiences.

:)

Quite enjoyed this, on the one hand simple, on the other hand complex poem. It reads to me both of sea and relationship. Beautiful images.
