That sounds more fun than my church

Sometimes you have to remember that God is not locked in a building called a Church. You will always find him in his creation instead. Treat the Earth as your church and you will honor the God. The God did not abandon his creation regardless of what some people may claim and in honoring all of his creation, including yourself, you honor the God.
