I keep hearing the hauntingly beautiful voice of Lara Fabion's "Jeliel my Angel" More specifically:
I do believe
Some things are mysteries
The simple fact that we stand alive that we breathe
Yeliel, my angel
Know that I can hear you
And every word you speak is holy wind caressing me
That is how i feel when i read your words... as if I have been given the gift of being allowed to stand in a holy place. Perhaps it is part of your soul, or perhaps on that plato where angels and demons embrace. A space where you are quiet.
There is always such a message that you bring with your work - Spirit being so determined to give this news to me. Spirit would not rest until She has delivered her message.
Always remember that Love in the Spirit World will give us the message in whatever way they can.
We are healing, arn't we?

and an intriguing one. I know just enough about physiology and the bible to recognize most of the references. As Alex said, it could use some editing but an excellent story nevertheless.
Enertaining piece of tale-telling. Nice work, although I have to say that while your tale-telling is good, your punctuation needs fixing. Check your feedback!

Great story Abstruse :) I especially liked Lillith in the story - sassy and sharp. Well-written and even at 4 pages it wasn't at all difficult to stay engrossed in.
Happy holidays and good luck,
Ali
And about what I expected with someone who has your sardonic wit and rapacious charm. Amazingly written and definitely a winner. You know a lot about angels. Great job.
How about this, you just make me cry like a little bitch, eh? Does that work for you, AB?
Lovely tale.
A beautiful story filled with wit and wisdom.
Thanks for a great read.
Good luck, sweetie.

Absy, a great story...one in which i can feel the emotions put into it without even trying. Great job, gorgeous..
*hugs*
v~
ps...im not even mad that you modeled Lilith after me *grin*
Great story, Abs. I was completely sucked in by your writing. Good luck!
Excellent story, Abs. And I'm with Imp- you have alot of nerve forcing me read so much so I could finish! :)
... making me read four Lit pages! You're lucky it was awesome. MWAH! ~Imp
What a terrific story, Abs! I thoroughly enjoyed it... while I moped, giggled, snickered along with your characters. Good luck in the contest, hon!
" 'Hey Sandahl', that's my name, Sandahl. I'll pop over and smack you around."
Very creative. What can I say, SE, you saw with both of your eyes, and did so in a way we can all appreciate. The humor was excellent, uh, heavenly, I mean, but in a very earthy way we can all understand and, perhaps, learn from.
Your destiny awaits you.
m, with love.
This was quite a creative endeavor! I loved the character names and references, and the title, too :) It was a riveting tale, beginning to end. Good luck!
Abs.. I'd tell you all about how wonderful and imaginative your story was.. but ... well... we kind of expect it of you... and you delivered.. yet again! Great Job
You're inspired and inspiring...
Really looking forward to reading more of your
work, the moment the contest is over.
Very best of luck to you!
I do so love the way you write...you are an incredible, inspirational person..

A Masterpiece?
I don't know, and honestly I don't care. For me it is and that's all that matters.
I smiled, hurt and cried with Petra...then just like her Hope was reborn. :)
This story is move moving and touching every time I read it. Wonderfully woven tale using imagination, pain and redemption. An absolute gem Abs. Thank You very much!
It made me smile and remember that sometimes even in the dark ou have to have hope. I read a book called "Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett... if you haven't read it you should... your story sounds like it in some ways... *hugs*
Always, Lizzy
Perfect story for the holidays.
And I learned a few things too.
I very much like the imagination that you put into this.
Well done, Abs.
your talent with words never ceases to amaze me. (love you too, sis)
is astonishing. This is a complex story that will need to be read again and again. For now, I'm stunned!
Great job of weaving humor, sentiment, and plot together. The word "imaginative" has never seemed so inadequate. Thanks for the read, Abs, and good luck in the contest.
