That was very sweet. I have two friends who have kids with Downs, and I have seen that with caring support they can live rich lives. It was a nice element, as Vicky had suffered so much from misinformed attitudes. Beth initially brought her pure compassion to the struggling single mother and her kids. Later she realized that being with her new friends/family was so much more enriching than bar hopping for ... who knows what/who. Keep up the good work.

I’m not normally a fan of the FP narration style, but it’s done really well here, the only thing I’d add is why an apparently straight girl falls for the gay protagonist without a word of explanation, I know this has been pared down to a very concise version, but Vicky’s side of things is conspicuous by its absence.

It is fantastic story and brilliantly written and a very moving story and how two women found each other and the kids are very happy at having there own room and hope there is more going to be written about this family as I have read this many times and enjoy it everytime and find something different in the story thank you write soon please.

This is a wonderful, beautiful LOVE story! The excellent character development is snuck in between the actions of the people so you don't even realize how well you know them until near the end, where I cried--something I haven't done in YEARS!!!

Third time reading this story. I absolutely love it. It was a little too short though, but it is worth reading again and again.

I first read this story some time ago and found it completely charming. I've just re-read it and it hit me in the same spot all over again. It's short, but it's one of the great stories on this site. Still charming...always will be...

But I'm going to rave a bit more. The writing isn't perfect, it stumbles and meanders along, but it tells heartfelt truths so elegantly and simply. I'm weeping after reading this because I marvel at the love and compassion shown here. How desperately we need to love and be loved. We yearn for meaning, to be tucked in cuddling our family. It speaks to how lonely we are, how deeply we yearn to belong and to cherish one another.

Really well done. And the sex is pretty fucking awesome as well.

It exemplifies Love in many stages - gratitude, humility, sacrifice, kindness, thoughtfulness, selflessness, hope...unfortunately acts that can be taken advantage of by people exercising the other emotion called Fear (2 emotions: Love & Fear). They say that everyone is looking for something in life, something to belong to, somebody to love, just something. This is such a story, and you tell it very well. I found myself hurrying through the sex scenes to find out what would happen. It was moving and touching. Best of all, you do a good job of highlighting what constitutes family.

This is the first story I have read on this site that actually made me feel something, it was beautifully written and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. When I first saw that it was only two pages long, it put me off slightly, however by the time I had finished I thought that the length suited the story very well. The emotion involved in the story gave it so much more edge over other stories and it has even inspired me to write my own! Thank you very much for sharing this story! X

Like many other readers, I stumbled upon this story, expecting a lesbian fantasy/experience, but found a touching love story, with sexual romance in it as a way to spice things up a bit. As far as the concept of the website goes, maybe a bit more spice wouldn't have hurt, but it is still lovely the way it is. Thank you for sharing it with us!
