The smallest things can sometimes command the largest reactions. Sweet sentiment. It made me smile.

This bit of playful prose claims the tension,
detaining attention
That I reserve for only her...
... and she for me.
Very nice, thank you for sharing! :)
pretty,
personal,
emotional.
I'm curious, who inspires you to write these lines?
I would find it difficult to believe these come from imagination rather than memory as there is such real emotion in them. :-)

or the specific context that you use "Loverly" but why it might sound familiar to many is the song from "Sound of Music", "Wouldn't it be Loverly",
"Someone's 'ead restin' on my knee,
Warm an' tender as 'e can be. 'ho takes good care of me,
Aow, wouldn't it be loverly?
Loverly, loverly, loverly, loverly"
This poem is special: it denotes a depth of emotion rarely seen. Beautiful!
"Loverly" is not in the Sound of Music. That song is in My Fair Lady.
