She stood there looking out
As the waves rushed in to shore
She couldn’t help but wonder
What if there were more?
To be loved fully,
To be loved completely,
To be loved for exactly
Who you are?
Now as she stood there
Looking out to sea,
A thought flitted cross her mind.
If this world should
Break in two
I’ll love you until it is the end of me
And until it is the end of you.
