Chocolate brown eyes that hold mine in a teasing glance
Dark spiky hair that I love to play with
A shy smile I always long to see
Strong arms that hold me tight
I smile at the memories of our times together

I’m missing you more than you could ever know
Each night seeming lonelier than the last
I hate it that we can’t spend all our time together
Must you go so very far away?

Phone calls aren’t enough to fill the void created by your absence
I know it won’t be long until you are home but it feels like eternity
The empty hours are filled with thoughts of you
Days drag by counting slowly down until you come home.
