Hay dumb shit if you can't write poetry than why have you came and written one. That is like being a conderdiction
Great poem, makes me want to read more of your stuff.
You're one of the best poets here, and can put them all to shame! Now, get going, keep writing, and be the incredible writer you can be!
here the title is apt.
this is like an American Haiku, from someone coming out of a long term psychosis
"Sunrise pays
no attention to me, follows
its own schedule."
...someone going back
"Someone please send me
a ticket to Mars.
Alaska is crowded already,
and I'm not wanted at home."
the hanger:
"I've lost my touch."
for what? poetry? followed by 8 lines
your dog? who wants to be petted
I submit to you; one or two things ring false.
Your dog wants you at home (after all home is where your dog lies)
or if you are waiting for a ticket to Mars, your dog probably would not want to be petted.
Hence I must question, the intent of this...downpour
You can definitely write poetry, eventhough you may feel you lack the motivation or inspiration to do so. Cheer up...
... for your delusions, ya know? On second thought, they might stifle your creativity. Nevermind. ~Imp
Very nice, foehn! Sad without being weepy.
Fly
you can write poetry. But pens don't work on Mars, so you need to saty here at Lit and play with us.
mentioned in Wednesday Review
to take a drink, get in trouble, and then write. You
got the words before the poem.
I have two tickets to Mars. But they can't be used until 2047. You can just put them on the coffee table until then. They make a nice conversation piece.
