My dazzling diamond
in the black
sad for all the love I lack?
do not cry for a heart of coal
your love for me
won't make me whole
even just for here and now
                  better than not at all
                     ...somehow

Eyes as bright as jewels
gaze back
sad for all the love you lack?
do not cry, oh heart so pure
I love you...
though it wont endure
not made to pass the test of time
                 nothing is ever trully
                     mine
