Oh God, I see you and my heart beats
Loud with anticipation
I remember the last time you touched me
Traced my curves with your hands
My skin was your road map
And you followed the trail exquisitely
Who else has your grace, beauty, poise?
Who else knows my every thought?
No one, my love
And I know you will never leave me
broken like a crushed lilly upon cold concrete
Like so many have done before
I know you will never turn me away
For you and I are one and the same
I look deep and I smile
Blue eyes and blond curls
and a smudge of pink gloss shaped like lips against the mirror
