don’t wake me, let me slide
along side you in my dream
make my flowing mind the canvas
that you delight in, coat me in new skin
let me fly shimmering across your dark landscapes,
my breath your wind
my eyes your moon
my mouth the pool
you drink from
let me shine in flight across your glittering mind
a shooting star cloaked in flames, burning
toward your endless sea
don’t stop me
let me feel your soul swimming along my reverie
my smooth stone skipping across your surface
slipping into your cool until i sink
through you
