First glance.
Familiar features,
seen in a hundred stills,
animated now.
The bursting smile of recognition,
the eyes that sparkle with joy.

First embrace.
So long awaited,
tentative for a moment,
then enfolding.
Loving words given depth and substance,
dreams transformed into warm certainty.

First kiss
Who could believe,
this touch to be so precious.
A singular moment.
The seal of love on a virtual past,
sublime beginning of future reality.

Very sweet .....

Loved the poem....the anticipation and finally the realisation of it happening at last....hmmm, something I could relate to instantly *wink*. In some instances, the first time is always the best ;-) Well done and good luck!!

...the train pulling into the station...the txt messages back and forth... not being able to see you in the crowds...your smile when you realised I had seen you...a day I will never ever forget...and now those first moments captured in verse...thankyou !
