Crawling on the ground, searching for a place to hide
Why does this have to be my life.
Can love be defined by a single hit, does a hit mean lovers love is false
Why does this have to happen all the time.
Shame is what will keep you safe, no one will ever know what you did
Why does this have to hide in me.
Bruises, tears, and lies, all these things are hidden, can I ever stop you
Why does this have to tear me apart.
I stay by your side through every single thing, I still love you just the same
Why does this have to degrade me .
You say that this is over, it will never happen again, I’ve heard that too many times before
Why does this have to define me.
Love me, hold me , keep me safe, how can you protect me when you are the predator
Why does this have to be the way it is.
