in the flowing dance
of your words,
repeated
like sins
again, and again,
and again:
a rhythm,
a style
as absolution
echoes in denial.
“Forgive my verse
its endless
redundancies.”
You could have said it,
repeated it too.
“Bless me, I have sinned.”
Confess that
in verses,
if only, if
only, if, if
only truth
were truth
to you.

Perpetual motion ~ repeating incessantly ~ as if the litany will set you free. Lovely illustration solidifies the repeat theme.
