As I sit here staring out the window
The rain is falling
I can hear the sound of it increasing its strength
Just as though certain death is upon us
It lets up to a slight drizzle
Perfect for a stroll in the rain
Oh how the rain reminds me of you
The Rain is never gloomy nor despairing
Though many do not like the rain for it causes much sadness
I can only see rain as a perfect way for the world to remind me
Remind me that you are there just like the rain
Many do not like you but just as many find you extraordinary
Your actions change as does the rain
The gentle rain comes to pass now it seems
Like your eyes gently looking over my body
Soaking up everything I have to offer and quenching my undesirable thirst
You use me how you so please with your winds changing and turbulence aloft
But I know that it will all come to pass and again there will be
That gentle rain that is the end of a fierce love between Body and mind
As I see the rain subside I feel like I want to be part of it
Just as I want it to be part of me
I stand there in the wide vast of the world with the rain showering ever so gently
Like you running your hands down my body softly, causing every nerve in my body to tingle
I turn my head higher, letting the rain wash over my forehead and eyes, onto my nose and cheeks
Finally on my lips
Those gentle rain drops caress my lips as though being kissed by you
Lowering my head I open my eyes to see you standing in front of me
Looking into my eyes and telling me it is okay to have the rain remind me of you
