I broke all my rules. I knew better, and now I’m paying the cost. Looks like I’d remember the reason I made the rules.

Never meet a single man..........never meet alone the first time.............never involve your heart.

Out the window they all went and left my heart broken and spent.

I know better than this..................this is not my regular way.

I promised myself that I’d remain hard...........detached.............give my body but not my soul and that way, I’d be in control.

Yeah................right.

Maybe some day I’ll find that right fit and breaking the rules won’t matter.

Maybe some day I’ll keep my stupid mouth shut and not say something to spoil it.

Maybe some day I’ll belong..........to something..............someone.............somewhere, and my headlong drifting down the wrong road will be no more.

Maybe. Maybe some day someone will break the rules for me!

Nice sentiments, well expressed but need to construct your poems without all those "............"
