It is a burning in my brain that is driving me insane
As I shiver as I shudder as my heart begins to flutter
I am calm and I am lame and not altogether tame
Like a tiger in the zoo I’m gonna swipe my claws at you

There’s a nervousness tonight that is gripping me too tight
It is gripping it is pulling it is tearing it is scoring
Thru my flesh with vicious might holding heart up to the light
Like a lion starved and hungry did the nervousness sweep through me

There is a fright within my head paranoia or a dread
Dancing on the edge of madness growing strong from all my sadness
A roaring hush the tap tap tap of tiny feet upon my back
Like spiders thousands all upon me a paranoia colony

All or nothing seize the day using it a special way
I laze upon the warm green grass like a thing of slithering path
Whose love for warmth cannot be swayed though many feet does it evade
Like a snake I lie and smile and ease my mind a gentle while.
