such as a rose
You risk a prick
into your very soul
The eyes absorb the beauty
while the body feels the sting
the heart is lost in passion
and the mind is on one thing!
the Thorn
love's bite
Then to share in a feast
such as love
You risk a bite
into your very being
To savor the flavor of the flesh
the licking lips and skin that mess
a tongue and teeth that become one
when the lapping and biting is done
petals torn
