STATUS QUO:
--we've got a lot of pockets,
oh yes, indeed we do.
they're wide and they're deep,
and what's in 'em is sweet,
but ha, there's nothing for you.--

QUANDRY:
--we've found a little problem,
one pocket is getting low.
it calls for a simple answer,
so...that is where we'll go.--

ACTION:
we know it has your attention,
you've been told and told and told.
our pockets are all empty,
though you've sold and sold and sold.

you must meet our commitments,
you try day-in, day-out,
but we're here to demand a favor,
of the need, there is no doubt.

we've got a lot of pockets,
but their empty, and we fear,
--there's not enough to go around,
at our bonus time next year.--

we're demanding just five dollars an hour,
from each and all of you,
--we'll deduct it from your health care,
that way, it's out of view.--

we thank you for the donation,
--now...don't jerk your head and start,
but if you say no, we'll cut out,
some of your vital body parts.--

REACTION:
the crowd rose up with a mighty roar,
for they heard the words unsaid.
they all began to scream and shout,
"cut off the giants head".

"how dare it ask for money;
our precious body parts,
it already has our hearts and souls,
and where its torn still smarts."

so they put their heads together,
but none were quick or brave,
they waltzed away the hours,
went dancing to their graves.

EPILOGUE:
--we've got a lot of pockets,
oh yes, indeed we do.
they're wide and they're deep,
and what's in 'em is sweet,
and a lot of it comes from you.--

--we've got a lot of pockets,
and believe us...its ok,
if one of them is beginning to leak,
the reak of human decay.--

rather startling....

Reminds me of "big brother" and "The Ugly American". Disturbing, your best work to date. (reak=reek, I assume?)
