A Halloween Legend is Born

Anyway, LaVerne and I had sex often after that. Very often. We even went back to the cemetery the next Halloween, intending to repeat our first time. But there were literally hundreds of people spread around, hoping to see the ghosts. So we used a convenient bed that night instead. Our relationship was never romantic, just physical. We enjoyed each others bodies and the sex. I was a Junior and she a Freshman, so two years later, I graduated and moved on and we both found other lovers. I purposely chose a quiet one this time.

This year, the Halloween ghost hunt is even bigger. The local paper says all the motels are sold out and that a couple thousand people are expected, coming from all over. There are even T-shirts for sale decorated with ghosts. On the one hand, I'm amazed at how gullible people are. On the other hand, it's sort of fun to realize that our loud sex created a legend.
