Dreary nights of winter long,
I dream of you and your tender hold,
Of Dreams lost and summers song.
When will you be back? I'm cold.

Your warmth and laugh your gentle voice,
Were taken from me, I had no choice.
Suddenly you were not in my life and missing,
I can't wait till you're back and we're again kissing.

For all the long days that you've been away,
I've pleaded with you to come and stay,
Your promises of Tonight and soon,
I might just as well have asked for the moon.
When will you be back my love, my one,
I can't stand it when you're away and gone.

After wanting you back for so long with all my being,
You were loving another, I can't believe what I'm seeing.
Now I can't wait for you to be away once more,
I hate your guts cause you're rotten to the core.

Shame on me ~ I should have seen it coming;

It was right there in the title ~

such an unexpected twist!
