I’m getting old.
I bent down
to pick up some words
and it was hell to get back up.
They were heavy.
I knew I was dressed like shit
in worn old man clothes,
but I needed a hand up
not a hand-out.
Uh oh.
Hot Chick! Hot Chick! Hot Chick!
Wait…
She is younger than my daughter-in-law.
Shit.
Getting old sucks.
And she called me Grandpa.
At least I don’t have to turn the TV up
real loud.
Never turn the fucker on.
That fixes that.
Now where did I put that whiskey bottle?
