Soaring,
Smiling,
Beautiful.

From what used to be  a
Dark
Huddled
Mass.

There was a
Wrenching,
Tearing,
Breaking

And a soul was
Freed,
Loosed,
Wild.

It revels in it’s
New
Wonderful
Rebirth.

It has found
Joy,
Faith,
Strength.

Now it is
Singing,
Flying,
Laughing

Where it had been
Oppressed,
Smothered,
Broken.

Freedom is becoming.

Flying indeed

This piece is all the more emotional because I know it comes right from the heart. It tells honestly of your feelings at a time of change and I think it will touch more readers than you could have guessed when you wrote it.

Thank you for sharing it.

Evolution

Very beautiful work, Ent. It made me think of a butterfly emerging from the cocoon to fly free, leaving the hard shell of its former life behind. Congrats.
