Little tiny footprints
Created, but never seen.
They danced upon my heart
 Like gentle summer rain.

The pleasure that you brought me,
Even though it was so brief
Lifts my spirits daily
Like sunshine on my face.

Your wings will lift you higher
Than I will ever see
The purest form of love I feel
Washing through me like the sea.

I wish that I could hold you
To look into your eyes
To tell you that I love you
And never say those goodbyes

Loss

Sometimes a loss is indescribable ~ this had the feeling of sweetness and poignancy mixed with sadness. Lovely Poem.

I sense that this one's special; a tale of love and loss for one so tiny.
