we have yet to travel the path
which will lead us
to consume this sensuous longing.
Barriers of bruised eternities
which are our limitations
lead us further
into temptation.
Our destination
determined by the
sorrowful yearning
from within.
My soul spiralling down…
anticipating forever
Your being comfortably nestling nestled
within my smile.
Painfully aware of our manmade parallel universe
we climb the ladder of sustenance
grasping every ecstatic shadow
of this eclipse
satisfying this hunger
for one universal moment
The elixir of my spirit
wanting to know me wholly
so unaware of the true colours
which defines my world.
Yet, what I would not give
to bow down before you
with the stars
in my hands.
